Virtual Hike - Hundred Acre Woods

Virtual Hike - Hundred Acre Woods Online

The 2025 Virtual Hike offers a month-long, accessible exploration of the Hundred Acre Wood, allowing participants to step into the whimsical world of A.A. Milne’s classic stories. Running from April 1 to April 30, this virtual experience allows participants to engage in a reading (and hiking) challenge like no other. Filled with one-time events, the program is held in partnership with:

  • Carroll County Public Library
  • The Friends of the Maryland State Library for the Blind and Print Disabled
  • The Pooh Corner Hartfield
  • Tea And Whimsey

Events include a virtual tea tasting (complete with optional tea kits), an audio tour of the real Pooh Corner in England, a Pooh-themed escape room adventure, a scone-making session, and trivia celebrating A.A. Milne’s work.

The program includes a group viewing party of Christopher Robin (2018) on April 19, 2025, for a final shared celebration of the Hundred Acre Wood’s timeless charm.
