Enoch Pratt Free Library & State Library Resource Center’s (SLRC) Fall 2025 DEI Conference: In-Person Day In-Person
In cooperation with the Enoch Pratt Free Library’s Office of Equity and Fair Practice (OEFP) and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) Council, please join us for training sessions, activities, and camaraderie with guest speakers from in and out of Maryland libraries, and library workers from throughout the state.
This year’s theme is centered around “Convergence: Technology, Equity, and the Future.”
Some of the topics that may be covered include (but are not limited to):
- Artificial intelligence and bias detection
- Cultural preservation
- Culturally relevant digital content
- Developing programs about the future of technology
- Digital collaboration platforms
- Digital inequity and socioeconomic disparities
- E-accessibility
- Online education and personalized learning platforms
- Public technology access points
- Robots
- Work arrangements that encourage the use of technology.
Training and activity proposals can now be submitted! Please submit the proposal form by the deadline of 5 pm on Thursday, July 31, 2025. Share the proposal form with others who may be interested.
Registration will start in September 2025.
This SLRC conference is free of charge for library workers.
